Thank Goodness it's Friday... after the way the week was... I just want this week to be over! I just wish I could snuggle up with Big Girl and relive the last few days before she headed back to base. I bet she can't wait for the day to be over too.. cause that means a relaxing weekend with her friends... Only 3 more weeks till she graduates... So what are my weekend plans? Prep for a storm that is heading our way... go grocery shopping... and try to stay warm... Maybe a drink of wine may help with that!!! I've really got nothing else to do... Maybe I'll go get some more yarn and work on some scarves or the blanket that I'm making for Big Girl or Wes... I've got to keep myself busy and warm some way!!
When I say it's suppose to be cold... I mean it... They are talking about a huge arctic system to come through with snow, ice and extreme cold temps... we're looking at temps below 10 degrees with wind chill temps below 0!!! I know I'm not going to want to go outside... and I know the dogs will not want to go outside either... they will turn into puppy-cicles!!! This also means that next month's electric bill will be sky high too! When we get the snow... I'll be sure to take pics and post them.. I just pray it's not going to be like the one last month where we were snowed in for 5 days and the kids missed 5 days worth of school. Not that I would mind the boys being home... but if they miss too many more days... they will have to go to school longer and they won't get their vacation in Wisconsin (as long as that is still what they want to do)!!
Well I gatta get going... I need to get things done before the kids get home from school!
